CHILDREN’S MESSAGE continues all year at the 8:45 and 11:00 AM services on Sunday. Cam is the main presenter. The Children’s Message portion of the service is for children 2 or 3 years of age through 5th grade. The Children’s Message is usually early in the service and bracketed at the 11 AM service by two children’s songs.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH Susan Miller, with help from others will continue to coordinate and direct the program this year. This program is for children who are in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We ask parents not to send children who are not attending Kindergarten due to the age appropriateness of the curriculum for education and worship. The children are released from the sanctuary following the children’s message, proceed to the Jacques Educational Wing, and entertain their own program in the Church School area. This program includes study, activities, and singing.

ACOLYTES: Our elementary youth are welcome to participate in this program. Every Sunday one or more youth can help by lighting the candles, extinguishing the candles, and helping with baptisms, and act as a messenger when needed. The Worship Committee and the Deacons work together with this program. Currently the Worship Committee is looking for a coordinator for the program. If you are interested please contact Mae Weed. If you are interested in this program for your child please talk to a member of the Worship Committee or Cam.

CHURCH NURSERY will continue to be available to parents of young children during the 11 AM and 8:45 AM service. It is also available for other educational, fellowship, and worship settings. The Nursery is located between the church office and the pastor’s study. Children through Kindergarten are welcome to come to the nursery at the start of the service or after the children’s message. More information on our new nursery program will be coming to you soon.

VIBRANT VOICES

Vibrant Voices is one of two Youth Choirs at our church and includes kids from grades 2 through 6.  Practice is on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 in the sancuary.  They sing at different Sunday church services.  If you know someone who likes to sing and is in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade make sure they know there is somewhere they can go to learn about singing God's praises!

TEENS 4 GOD

This summer a second Youth Choir was started.  The new group calls themselves "Teens 4 God" and they consist of teens who are in the 7th grade or higher.  They practice on Monday evenings from 7:30-8:30.

These groups will be performing on alternating months throughout the year.  Both choirs learn how the songs they sing are really a message from God, so everyone involved has the opportunity to expand their knowledge of God's word and spread His word to our congregation as well!

For more information contact Kathy Kemp or the Church Office.
